We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team in Middleton Wisconsin. The successful applicant will show great leadership skills, the ability to work well with a team, and can demonstrate strong experience in customer service roles for commercial and or employee benefits accounts at an independent insurance agency.
This role manages individuals across the small commercial, commercial, and employee benefits departments along with serving as a member of the executive team. This person will manage the service department along with handling customer service delivery, managing reports, and helping to resolve any issues that may arise.
Service Manager Duties:
- Lead the employee benefits and commercial service teams to deliver exceptional customer service results across the agency
- Provide technical support to staff and be accountable for training of all service staff
- Manage the renewal process through auditing and follow up to ensure the smoothest possible renewals for our clients
- Act as a role model and leader in the full delivery of Baer’s customer experience
- Conduct staff appraisals, support plans and budget management
- Handle escalated customer and claims issues as they arise
- Work with the other managers to mitigate any agency E&O exposure
